The History of FF7AC.net...
Hi my name is Cody Lindinger, I run ff7ac.net, from Fall '05, to present, I have tried to bring a site together. As you may realize, my site really isn't that great right now. Well that is due to my lack of activity on the site. But we have made a huge come back. I have a new layout, more media, and VB. FF7AC.net has come a long way from its first crappy layout, to the new VB.
Just a little about me, I am 21 years old, I live in upper-middle-class America. I live in Ohio. And I have graduated with a Diploma for Computer Office Assisting.
Backstory of the Site...
One day Zero, the Previous owner, decided to buy a domain, after hearing about FF7AC from TGS, being a fan of FF and previous owner of Void-Media.com, a media site, sorta like FFadvanced. So he branched ff7ac.net from void-media.com, then he wanted something bigger. But first, We lost our Host, so we decided to buy a server, and pay for it for 10 months. The Good old days of Square Net.net. Well, so we had our server, then yeah, his site got a new layout. Which is the layout that was on it for 11 months. We were still on IBF until August of 2004. When I decided to go in with 4 other people and buy one. At this point, its still Winter of 04. Then, 6 months later he got here. Dropped thier server, got a free host with the people that supported us the most. Evan's server, Enclave1.net. After that was done, he went to Dahaka's cousins server. And we are here, with a new layout. Two TGS's later and a shit load of mistakes.

Chad, the previous owner, moved on to college and became too busy to keep the site running along with all the real world work he was doing. That's where I ,VCloudStrife155v, come in. I started working for the site in late '04 or early '05 as a news reporter. Becoming good friends with Chad (Zero), we talked off and on about things.
Late one evening in the fall of '05, Chad had just gotten the site and the forums running again after a month of downtime. We began talking and I come to find out that he's thinking about getting ride of the site and selling the domain.
Well, after working out the details, he sold the site to me and I began to work on it. Not being proficient in PHP, which the site was built on, I added HTML here and there to patch it together for the time being.
I've finally begun recoding the entire site, along with the compilation sites. Soon I hope to have everything up and running.
